Katy leads the team and is a highly experienced and respected researcher. She has worked in social research since 2001 and was a director of ODS Consulting before setting up Research Scotland in 2015.
Ann Elliott
Research Manager
Ann is our Research Manager and has worked in research for more than 20 years. She has a strong eye for detail and brings expertise in data management and organisation. Ann leads our data management work for all consultation analysis activity we undertake for the Scottish Government, involving a systematic and accountable approach to organising, coding and analysing data.
Eric Hildrew

Qualifications: BA Hons Modern History
Eric is an adept researcher and evaluator with specialist knowledge of the cultural sector and over 20 years of experience working in theatre, museums, and the visual arts.
Christina Bruce

Qualification: MA Hons, PGDip Housing
Christina has worked with us over the past eight years and brings strong skills in running focus groups, individual interviews, qualitative analysis and report writing.
Tara McGregor

Qualifications: Bsc. Honours (First Class – Plant Science, MSc Public Policy with distinction), University of Glasgow, Level 5 Diploma Professional Management Coach and Mentor
Tara is a highly skilled researcher with strong skills and experience of leading major research projects, including evaluations and developing learning materials and training programmes.
